With a broad nutrient profile and high levels of probiotics for optimal gut function and a strong immune system. Green tripe is characterised by its very diverse nutrient profile including phytonutrients and probiotics such as lactobacillus acidophilus, perfect for helping to maintain optimal gut flora and a strong immune system. It also contains large amounts of natural digestive enzymes that not only help to establish good intestinal function essential for good health and digestion, but also help to improve metabolism, hormonal function and boost the immune system. It’s also full of vitamins, minerals (especially iron) and choline (recommended for liver damage).

We recommend adding this food 2 or 3 times a week to your dog’s usual full AltuDog food. 

Hypoallergenic.

Store in a cool, dark and dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated for up to 3 days.

If you like, once opened you can freeze to keep for longer.

For the purposes of your dog’s diet, green tripe can be considered as meat. This means that, the meat part of their diet can simply be replaced with green tripe.

It is also important to begin little by little, as it is a special kind of meat that not all dogs will digest in the same way. Serve a few small pieces each day with meals, according to the size of your dog.

In our experience, once you’ve completed the short adaptation stage, you’ll be fine to give them green tripe once or twice a week, as half of one of their daily meals.
